Industrialization and end-to-end management

2026 Capital Equipment Industry, Quality Control
Marposs SAS is a global leader in measurement, inspection and testing technologies for the mechanical engineering and industrial automation sectors. Within its precision systems, the tool structure known as Araignees is a critical component that requires uncompromising quality standards and maximum structural reliability.

The Challenge

Increase production volumes while maintaining "precision workshop" standards

Until recently, the tools were produced at an average rate of 30 units per year. The rapid market growth and Marposs SAS’s increasing demand set a new objective: to scale production to more than 100 units per year by 2026. The main challenges included:
  • Bottlenecks: a fragmented supplier network and the absence of an integrated production workflow.
  • High lead time risk: increasing production volumes threatened delivery schedules.
  • Management workload: the customer had to oversee too many intermediate stages of the process.

The Solution

Industrialization and Turnkey Service

We redesigned the entire lifecycle of the Araignees tool, reengineering the end-to-end process management and transforming a niche production into an industrial workflow optimized for high-volume manufacturing. Our approach was structured into five key phases:
  1. Quoting and supplier sourcing: optimization of initial costs and procurement planning to support increased production volumes.
  2. Integrated Supply Chain: complete management of raw material and critical component procurement, eliminating the risk of supply shortages.
  3. Specialized Assembly: standardization of the Araignees assembly process through dedicated workstations.
  4. Testing and Quality Control: inspection and testing procedures to meet the precision requirements defined by the customer's specifications.
  5. Protected Logistics: custom packaging to preserve tool calibration and direct shipment to the customer or end user.
